Fox Valley Technical College offers degree programs that are designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification needed for employment in the State of Wisconsin. In accordance with the United States Department of Education's federal regulations on professional licensure and certification disclosures (under 34 CFR § 668.14 and 34 CFR § 668.43), Fox Valley Technical College cannot enroll students located in states where we have determined that our program does not meet the licensure or certification requirements. Only the licensure boards or agencies in that state or location can determine if a program fulfills the necessary requirements.
Graduating from a program is usually only one part of the overall licensure process. Most states require additional steps, such as completing specific coursework, training, supervised clinical experience, and passing state or national exams. Other requirements may include fees, background checks, years of professional experience, references, fingerprinting, etc.
There are specific programs of study that lead to professions that require state licensure or certification. Below is a list of these programs. Because Fox Valley Technical College cannot confirm the licensure or certification requirements outside the State of Wisconsin for some of the programs listed below, we are not currently accepting out-of-state applicants for those programs of study.
Licensure information is reviewed and updated annually, but requirements can change at any time. For more information, please contact Admissions by emailing AdmissionsSpecialist@fvtc.edu or calling 920-735-4740.
