Fox Valley Technical College offers degree programs that are designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification needed for employment in the State of Wisconsin. In accordance with the United States Department of Education's federal regulations on professional licensure and certification disclosures (under 34 CFR § 668.14 and 34 CFR § 668.43), Fox Valley Technical College cannot enroll students in states where we have not confirmed the licensure or certification requirements for that area. Only the licensure boards or agencies in that state or location can determine if a program fulfills the necessary requirements.
This determination is typically made after a student graduates or completes the program and applies for licensure. Graduating from a program is usually only one part of the overall licensure process. Most states require additional steps, such as completing specific coursework, training, supervised clinical experience, and passing state or national exams. Other requirements may include fees, background checks, years of professional experience, references, fingerprinting, etc.
There are specific programs of study that lead to professions that require licensure or certification. Because Fox Valley Technical College cannot confirm the licensure or certification requirements for these programs outside the State of Wisconsins, we are not currently accepting out-of-state applicants for the following programs of study.
