Internships are a valuable way to get practical work experience in your field of study and can be paid or unpaid depending on the area of study. Interns are often hired as part-time employees of companies needing some special skills that the intern can offer and will receive college credit for the work they do as part of the Internship.
If you are interested in pursuing an internship, you must:
- Have successfully completed no less than one semester in your chosen field of study
- Discuss the possibility of an internship with your Academic Counselor
FVTC Internships are directly coordinated through the academic department for your area of study. FVTC academic department contacts can be found here: Internship Contact List (PDF)
