The average age of a Fox Valley Tech student is about 30. There will be younger students, but there will also be older students. This mix mirrors the working world and provides an ideal learning environment. Plus class sizes are smaller here, which means you’re getting more individualized instruction.
There are a variety of class options at Fox Valley Tech, including on-campus, online, part-time, day, evening, weekend and accelerated options. Plus, while our main campus is located in Appleton, we also offer many classes at our Oshkosh campuses and regional centers in Chilton, Clintonville, Waupaca and Wautoma. If child care is a concern, there is a day care center at the Appleton campus that is open to students and staff, and is licensed for 96 children, ages six weeks through five years, year-round.
Math, writing, science… the struggle is real, we get it. We will do everything in our power to help you succeed. Through our Teaching & Learning Center, individual tutoring and study groups are available to help you improve whatever skills you need help with, all free of charge. We also offer free workshops and classes throughout the semester to help you with things like study skills, test-taking and time management.
