With stops at our Appleton and Oshkosh campuses, Fox Valley Tech program and Adult Basic Education students can use local public transit FREE with a current FVTC ID card.

Use Appleton Valley Transit bus service free with your Student ID card, anytime or anywhere that Valley Transit routes run.

In Oshkosh, students can ride any Go Transit bus free by showing their current FVTC photo ID card.

FVTC Cares Grant (COVID-19)

With support from the Federal CARES Act, Fox Valley Technical College is in a position to offer emergency financial assistance related to the interruption of your education and the additional expenses you may have incurred. These expense may include, but are not limited to: class materials, childcare, food, healthcare, housing, personal care items, transportation, and technology.

Please be aware that you must be a FVTC student that has or is eligible to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and whose classes were disrupted by the changes to FVTC operations due to the pandemic. This funding is not available for dual credit classes, classes that were 100% online prior to March 16, 2020, GED/HSED, ELL or continuing education classes.

Emergency Support

If a Fox Valley Tech student experiences an unforeseen financial expense, or a financial shortfall, emergency funding may be available. These financial situations are those that, if not resolved quickly, could lead to the student’s temporary or permanent departure from the college. Learn more about FVTC's financial support.

Seeds of Hope Fund

The Seeds of Hope Financial Assistance Fund was established to support financial needs of current Fox Valley Tech students. The fund, which is managed by the FVTC Foundation, is designed to assist students in paying for educational or personal expenses. Find out more about Seeds of Hope.

Crisis Counseling

FVTC counselors provide intervention, assessment education, guidance and support in crisis situations. A crisis is when a student is experiencing a severe psychological or emotional emergency.
