    **Basic Flexo Seminar**
    Understand the basics of package and label printing, the processes involved and the equipment used in today's modern printing and converting operations. It is ideal for new production employees, people wishing to move up to a press operator position, customer service, technical sales, converting machine operators, maintenance mechanics and ink technicians. This 3-1/2 day workshop provides the basic information necessary for the production of quality flexographic printing. Instruction will consist of lectures, demonstrations, field trips and actual operation of a wide web central impression flexographic printing press.

    * Flexographic art and copy, line, tone and process printing
    * Prepress functions
    * Platemaking, photopolymer printing plates, mounting and proofing
    * Mechanical press components
    * Press operation, anilox rolls, flexographic inks, solvents, substrates and printing problems
    **Fundamentals of Wide Web Press Operation**
    Seasoned wide web press operators who want to sharpen their skills will benefit from the intensive, hands-on learning experience. Students participate in the mounting and/or printing of both a 2-color line and screen and a 4-color process combination job for the flexographic printing process. Utilization of densitometers on press runs stressing the importance of consistent, repeatable process press operation.

    **Fundamentals Corrugated Flexo Printing & Rotary Die Cutting**
    Participants will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in corrugated printing and die cutting producing two- and three-color work on the FVTC's 3-color flexo rotary die cutter press. Interactive analysis and discussion will improve productivity and streamline your processes on the job site. The training is ideal for employees that needs to know the basics of corrugated printing techniques. It covers everything from setup to finishing. Press supervisors; production coordinators; sales people; technicians; designers; and sales service personnel will benefit from the intensive, hands-on learning experience.

    **Fundamentals of Narrow Web Flexo Printing**
    New or seasoned narrow web flexo operators who want to sharpen their skills, press supervisors, production coordinators, sales people, technicians, designers, and sales service personnel - *all will benefit from the intensive, hands-on learning experience.* This 3-day workshop provides the basic information necessary for the production of quality narrow web printing. Participants take part in demonstrations and operation of either a 10" Mark Andy P3 6-color narrow web press or 7" Mark Andy 6-color 2200 narrow web press.

    **Achieving Consistency in Process Printing**
    This 3 1/2-day workshop covers the concepts and tools involved in the production of high quality, repeatable process printing. Included are lectures, demonstrations, a field trip, and participation in a 4-color process job on an 8-color, central impression gearless press. This training is ideal for press operators, supervisors, owners, maintenance technicians and ink technicians.
