High School Academies

Fox Valley Technical College High School Academies are designed to provide motivated students with program specific pathways to earning a credential. Students will take classes at the Fox Valley Technical College Campus, benefiting from FVTC's advanced equipment and instructors, while also earning high school credit.

Eligibility: Prospective students must be in good academic standing and meet FVTC program requirements. Parental and high school approval is required for a student to be accepted into the program.

Payment Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the student/family and school district to determine, prior to the class start date, who is responsible for payment. If payment responsibility is not established as part of the agreement, payment responsibility will default to the student and family.

What Academy Students Are Saying

  • It was a good challenge to go through and I would recommend it if you have any interest.

    Cole H.

  • As a beginner who was uncertain about joining an automotive class, this program exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The topics we learned in class were immediately practiced in the shop, creating a top-notch educational experience.

    Carly M.

  • This is an amazing opportunity. I’ve always been interested in electronics, but didn’t have much experience; this program has turned my interest into a potential career. We got a whole year’s worth of college credits before we are even out of high school.

    Trevor B.
