Peer Leaders

Peer Leaders are a diverse and energetic group of students who are selected to represent Fox Valley Technical College as a knowledgeable resource for current and prospective students. They are positive role models who build awareness of college services and programs, connect new students to the college community, and support student growth.

Peer Leaders provide campus tours and participate in a wide variety of campus events, including Open House, College Preview Nights, Campus Visit Days, Welcome Days, and New Student Registrations. They work closely with college faculty and staff to provide general and program-specific information to visitors and current students. Peer Leaders also assist students with admissions, registration, schedule planning, organization, and use of MyFVTC and Blackboard.

You get to develop your capacity for applying new knowledge, your self-assurance, and your communication abilities. What matters most to me is that you get to meet new people and develop a strong sense of professionalism

What I enjoy most about being a Peer Leader is getting to meet new students and helping others who are still looking for what they would like to come to school for.
