Charles Spoehr joined the District Board in 2019. He has worked in the residential and commercial construction industry for over 24 years.
Since 2011, he continues to serve as a Representative for North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters. In this role, Spoehr focuses on connecting carpenters and contractors, expanding education through apprenticeships, and changing the culture and perceptions of the building trades and construction industry. Additionally, he is an Instructor for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters at their International Training Center, providing leadership training for contractors and carpenters.
Prior to his current position, Spoehr started his career as a residential carpenter while completing a four-year carpentry apprenticeship at FVTC in 1999. From there, he worked for Oscar J. Boldt Construction as a commercial Carpenter and Foreman.
Spoehr and his wife, April, have three children, Eric, Morgan, and Lindsey.
