Daily Continuous Improvement (Kata)

**Improve. Adapt. Innovate.** Does your organization have opportunity for Daily Continuous Improvement (DCI)?
Learn the framework to create a sustainable problem-solving culture that embraces personal learning through experimentation using the improvement Kata. Kata means method and practitioners establish a routine of identifying a challenging target condition, then work step-by-step to identify and remove obstacles while learning from problems encountered.
During four, 3-hour sessions, develop an understanding of the routines required for Daily Continuous Improvement, establish processes to support the coach/learner roles and practice the coaching routine, create a storyboard to support the DCI routine and report on your successes and challenges.
The FVTC Lean Performance Center offers customized Kata learning experiences, seminars and partners on specialized events to bring this continuous improvement concept to regional businesses and non-profits.
**Access to Complimentary Kata-omino Exercise Documents**
The FVTC Lean Performance Center strategically partners with regional continuous improvement groups to build the skills of operational excellence leaders. The complimentary Kata-omino exercise is shared from the January 10, 2019 **3rd Annual Midwest Kata Practitioner Day** hosted at the D.J. Bordini Center in Appleton. The Kata Practitioner Day is a forum for everyone to hear first-hand from regional companies practicing improvement Kata and Coaching Kata.
