Information sharing is an important function in any organization. As a network specialist you implement, maintain and troubleshoot a variety of network equipment. This degree gives you a solid foundation in information technology for today’s business environment, and the skills to manage a single local area network or work in a complex telecommunication wide area network environment. You’ll learn to install and configure switches, routers and access points. You’ll also learn about operating systems, device repair and maintenance, security, cabling, scripting, and much more. You’ll build your project management and communication skills, and will be well prepared for today’s high tech workplace.
