In order to have your test proctored, you should:

  1. Contact the Appleton Testing Center to check into the availability of proctoring services before proceeding to the next step.

  2. Initiate the request for proctoring through your instructor or representative of the college requiring the test. Make sure to allow enough time to take the test before the set deadline.

  4. Contact the Testing Center to schedule an exam appointment.

FVTC's Testing Center will:

  1. Receive tests and sign the appropriate paperwork. It is the student's responsibility to contact the Testing Center to verify receipt of the exam.

  2. Make the student aware of any specific test guidelines (e.g., no notes, no open books, etc.) and administer the test.

  3. Return completed tests by email and/or in postage-paid envelope as provided.

  4. Destroy any tests not completed by the stated deadline, unless requested to handle otherwise.

FVTC's testing center cannot:

  • Proctor to groups of students.

  • Mail back the test unless provided with a postage-paid envelope.

Instructor Information

Instructors should:

  1. Advise students to check into the availability of proctoring services at FVTC Testing Center before proceeding to the next step.

  1. Provide thorough directions for proctoring the test. Also provide contact information.

Fee Information

Proctoring is provided at no charge to students taking any Wisconsin technical college course-related test.

FVTC campuses and regional centers also offer proctoring for course-related tests from other colleges; a non-refundable fee will be charged per semester.

Prior to testing, proctoring registration and payment can be done online or in person at the registration area of the site where you will be testing.
