Incorporates an 8-hour Kennametal carbide machining seminar, covering insert selection, use of speeds and feeds, calculators, tool geometry and insert coatings. The course also includes 10 hours of instruction in geometric dimensioning and tolerance application of G.D.T. symbols on machine blueprints, to include tolerance of form, profile, location, orientation and runout.
