Flexible Learning Options

Online (ONL)*

Course content is delivered entirely online. You’ll interact with other students and your instructor through email, threaded discussions and other online tools. Assignments and activities are completed and submitted electronically.

  • You will need a broadband internet connection and may need a webcam OR you can use a workstation at any FVTC location.
  • On the class start date, login to Blackboard at https://blackboard.fvtc.edu. Here you will find the instructor contact information, class syllabus and instructions on how to begin the class.
  • If you have a problem during the login process or have a question about accessing your online class, send an email to online@fvtc.edu or call 920-735-4816.

*IMPORTANT: Courses taught in these formats provide great flexibility but require a strong commitment from you to stay current with class discussions and assignments and to maintain communication with your instructor. Also, you must have access to a computer with Internet service, Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and computer/browser technical requirements.
