Patricia Van Ryzin was appointed to the District Board in 2017. She served as Board Chair for fiscal 2019-2021 and led the Search Committee for the college Presidential Search Process in 2021.
Van Ryzin has worked at Bassett Mechanical since 1990 and currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer. She successfully led the family-owned business through a third-generation transition and enjoys helping sustain its culture of strong values, customer service, and continuous improvement through Lean and ISO best practices.
Van Ryzin believes in community involvement and has volunteered for several non-profit organizations. Previously, she served on the Board for the Women’s Fund of the Fox Valley Region, the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley Foundation, and the Girl Scouts of the Fox River Area.
Van Ryzin lives in the Town of Osborn (Seymour area) with her husband, Bruce. They have two sons.
