Clintonville Regional Center

The Clintonville Regional Center offers a variety of services and courses designed to meet your continuing education needs. For your convenience, you can stay close to home and still choose from many credit and non-credit classes, along with a full range of support services to help you succeed. Credit courses may be applied to associate degree, technical diploma or certificate programs. Numerous non-credit courses are offered for self-enrichment.

Facility Resources

Fox Valley Technical College's Clintonville Regional Center offers a variety of services for students and the community. The facility includes: 

  • Six "smart" classrooms with multi-media equipment and Internet access
  • Two computer labs (Business Technology Center), each with 12 workstations; LCD projection system; laser printer; Internet access; More than 40 different software programs; Several different printer options; Scanner; Professional instructors who are available to help students 30 hours per week
  • Seminar/Training Center (seating capacity for 100 people)
  • Two Conference rooms
  • Two ITV/IP Classroom/Studio
  • Large ABE lab
  • Industrial Bay/Demonstration Area
  • Nursing Assistant Lab
  • Lounge with TV & vending machines

Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Adult Basic Education (ABE) prepares students to complete their high school credential. Build reading, writing, math, science, social science and study skills. 

All ABE classes are available at the Clintonville Regional Center.

Computer Training

The Business Technology Center at the Clintonville Regional Center was designed with the latest technology and resources to better serve you, the student. All currently registered FVTC students are welcome to use the BTC facilities for program-related activities.

Self-Directed/Open Lab Classes

Self-directed classes provide students with a practical, hands-on approach to developing skills. The emphasis is placed on learning by doing. These self-paced, open entry/open exit courses are presented in a tutorial format designed to be used in a lab setting. The student schedules regular hours that are convenient. Instructors are available to provide assistance and to administer tests and timings during specific blocks of time. Students must schedule an orientation to the computer lab prior to beginning a course.

BTC hours in the lab are as follows for Spring 2015

Monday: 3:00-6:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m.-noon
Thursday: 9:00 a.m.-noon

Lab hours are subject to change based on student need and instructor availability.

Now Offering  |  CDL Instruction Permit Course

Class number: 54573
November 9-11, 2015  |  5-10 p.m. 

The focus of the class will be to assist students in getting their temporary Commercial Driver's License Instruction Permit by preparing them in advance for the DMV written test. This course is beneficial for students enrolling in an FVTC Truck Driving program.
