Why did you choose this career program?
I’ve always wanted help people and challenge myself. I also have a lot of family members and friends in law enforcement and the military.
What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?
I’m learning how to educate the community on safe practices. It’s rewarding to be a person in the community that others can count on.
Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?
I chose FVTC for its affordable tuition, small classes and hands-on learning. I was also encouraged by my peers to attend FVTC.
How has Fox Valley Technical College helped you change your life?
FVTC has helped me begin my journey into higher education and will act as a stepping stone in furthering my academic career. My experience at FVTC has helped me become the best learner I can be, and the Criminal Justice program has given me invaluable experience that I can one day use in my chosen career.
What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?
I am looking to become a police officer or join border patrol.
What's your best advice for someone who's not sure they're ready for college?
Make sure to ask questions. Instructors are willing to help!
