The Fox Valley Technical College District Board Appointment Committee selected two new board members and reappointed two current members to fill upcoming openings on the FVTC District Board of Trustees. The Appointment Committee is comprised of the school board presidents from the 28 K-12 public school districts in FVTC’s service area.
Justin Krueger, Special Education Department at Appleton West High School, was reappointed to another 3-year term. He will fill the Elected Official category.
John Weyenberg, President & CEO of Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity, was reappointed to another 3-year term. He will fill the Additional Member category.
Mike Slowinski, Superintendent of Kaukauna Area School District, was appointed to a 1-year term. He will fill the Employer category being vacated by Trustee Erik Lampe.
Victoria Weiland, Community Member, was appointed to a 3-year term. She will fill the Additional Member category.
Fox Valley Technical College is governed by a nine-member board of trustees comprised of two employers, two employees, three additional (at-large) members, a school district administrator and an elected official. Each year, the terms for three board posts expire.
