Top 10 in National BBQ Competition Monday, April 13, 2020 | By: Britten, Casey The Culinary Arts instructional department plated two top 10 finishes in the 2020 National Barbecue Association (NBBQA) Awards of Excellence. The chef instructors submitted their signature Sweet Mama barbecue rub and earned 7th place in the Pork Rub category for bold flavor and a 9th place finish for original taste in the Poultry Rub competition. Founded in 1991, the NBBQA is a not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to helping various segments of the barbecue and grilling industry succeed.
