Why did you choose this career program?

I chose to pursue a career as a software developer because I am very intrigued by electronics and creating programs. One day, I hope to make my own video game.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

The intricacy and challenges of coding are fascinating, and I truly enjoy tackling them.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

I have attended Fox Valley Tech in the past for my Nursing certification and I really liked the staff, the environment, and how they work with you and your way of learning.

How has Fox Valley Technical College helped you change your life?

FVTC has provided me with structure in my life and has helped me become much more organized. It also gives me a purpose every day to strive to meet my goals for my future.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

I'm really hoping to work for Google or Amazon, but realistically, without any experience, I expect to start at a bank or hospital while continuing to learn more about the career field I've chosen.

What's your best advice for someone who's not sure they're ready for college?

The second you start doubting yourself and your abilities, remember that you can accomplish anything if you're willing to put in the work. Don't hesitate to ask for help, and never be afraid to ask as many questions as you need.
