The 4th annual Mike O’Connell Memorial Trucking’s Top Rookie award went to Julie Matulle, a graduate of Fox Valley Technical College’s Truck Driving program.

Matulle earned the national honor out of a record pool of 55 nominations. The Amherst, Wisconsin, resident drives for H.O. Wolding, where she hauls paper products between Wisconsin and the southern states.

Matulle accepted the award at a national truck driving show in August. She is pictured here with FVTC truck driving instructor Rob Behnke.
