Why did you choose to study this field?

My aunt is a marketer and I have always found the work that she does interesting. I also enjoy how marketing allows me to use my creative thinking and challenges me to do better every day.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

Something that I am currently learning is how to create meaningful content for the web, including how and when to reach your target audience. You want to make the most out of your content, so knowing when, where, and how will make it more successful.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

I chose FVTC because it was affordable, close to home, and offered more hands-on experiences. When coming to school I was still on the fence about my major and I knew this was a great place to start!

How has Fox Valley Technical College helped you change your life?

FVTC has given me many opportunities that will help me in the future. I was able to find out what I like and dislike about marketing, as well as given the opportunity to work as a social media intern!

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

After graduation I will be looking for a job that focuses on either social media marketing or web design.

In one sentence, what's your best advice for someone who's not sure they're ready for college?

Worrying will not help, so take time to think about what best fits you and your interests!
