Why did you choose this career program?

I chose Marketing because it’s a great mix of creativity and strategy. It lets you come up with unique ideas, dive into data, and make a real impact on how people see and buy things. The field is always changing, so there's always something new to learn and explore.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

Something I find rewarding about marketing is that the dynamic nature of marketing keeps things fresh and engaging, as there's always something new to learn or a new trend to explore.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

I chose FVTC because they focus on their students and want you to succeed. Also, we are always doing hands-on learning and using real-life scenarios to learn. This learning style is best suited for me and it has helped me a lot so far.

How has Fox Valley Technical College helped you change your life?

FVTC has helped me with skill development and career advancement. In the classroom using real life examples has boosted my confidence and helped me learn a lot more about marketing. FVTC has also given me lots of opportunities career-wise, I had the opportunity to become a social media intern here and I am so grateful for this school because they truly care.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

I want a social media/digital marketing job with a sports team.

What's your best advice for someone who's not sure they're ready for college?

Talk to current students or professionals in your field of interest to get a sense of what college could offer and whether it aligns with your aspirations.
