Why did you choose the IT - Network Systems Administration program?

I have computer experience, and the hardware and connectivity side interests me. I get satisfaction from connecting hardware to make a system work as well as from troubleshooting a system if it is not working.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

I'm getting a greater understanding of network connectivity than I had previously. I have had on-the-job training in the military for network connectivity, and adding that to what I am learning here at FVTC puts the pieces together and gives me an even better understanding of the systems.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

Fox Valley Technical College gives you the hands on experience immediately. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful, so this whole experience has been great and has justified my choice of school.

How did Fox Valley Technical College help you change your life?

The experience here has been great. Faculty and support staff work hard to ensure student success. Being a Peer Advisor and being able to help other students has been extremely rewarding for me.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

I hope to find a Systems Administrator job to work with everything I have learned about in this field, or even go farther in a different direction at my current job.
