Betsy DeVos, United States Secretary of Education, paid a visit to our Public Safety Training Center (PSTC) to better understand how Fox Valley Technical College is preparing law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel for careers dedicated to service and protection.

DeVos toured FVTC’s renowned training facility and then met with college officials, local law enforcement, K-12 school leaders, and more to explore ways to make schools safer while addressing issues related to mental health and youth stress.

The college’s National Criminal Justice Training Center was also represented at the meeting. It was the first time a cabinet member on behalf of the President of the United States visited FVTC.
