It’s been building for some time.

With retirements surging and fewer traditional court reporter training programs being offered, there continues to be a gap in the workforce when it comes to court reporters.

To help address this deficit Fox Valley Technical College launched a Digital Court Reporter (DCR)  program in the fall of 2019. Fully online and financial-aid eligible, the technical diploma degree program prepares students to use videoconferencing technology to capture and document court activity.

FVTC’s program was recently highlighted in an article published in the Wisconsin Law Journal.
