Bright Ideas Take the Prize at Fox Trap Pitch Event

FVTC students and aspiring entrepreneurs took center stage at the 8th annual Fox Trap Pitch Event on Thursday, April 10, turning bright ideas into real prize money during the competition held at Fox Valley Technical College.
Organized by the FVTC Business division with support from American National Bank and the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation, competitors were given three minutes to pitch their big idea before a panel of judges for a chance at cash prizes.
The Winners:
First place: Aniya Stamper ($250)
Pitch: Own Home Learning is a digital-based educational company specializing in learning materials and resources for homeschooling environments.
Second place: Sara Snyder ($150)
Pitch: Savor & Share is a destination custom kitchen and dining spot where dates, friends or corporate teams can enjoy an elevated, night out experience learning to cook a curated menu and then dine in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.
Third Place: Kaytlyn Walker ($100)
Pitch: Kaytlyn Roze Venue Consulting is a expert consulting business for wedding venues, optimizing operations, marketing and guest experience to boost bookings and stand out in a competitive market.
Judges included Griffin Jack from American National Bank Fox Cities, Bill Casper from The Hang Up Gallery and Emily Heiges from Copper Rock Coffee.
