Phi Theta Kappa, Student Nurses Association Take Top Honors

| By: Anonym

Phi Theta Kappa and the Student Nurses Association took top honors at the annual Student Government Association Awards Gala, held in early May.

Students and faculty wore broad smiles and donned their finest to take part in the ceremony, which recognizes student organizations.

It was a big night for Phi Theta Kappa. The academic honors organization took home the prize for Non-Academic Student Organization of the Year in addition to four other awards. The Student Nurses Association won for Academic Student Organization of the Year.

More than 40 pages of nominations flowed in, according to Shannon Gerke Corrigan, manager of Student Life. That meant no shortage of worthy contenders for the awards.
