Kaufman Named VP of Human Resources

Fox Valley Technical College is pleased to announce that Susan Kaufman, SHRM-CP, PHR, has been named Vice President of Human Resources.

Kaufman joined Fox Valley Technical College in 2002 and has held various HR leadership roles at FVTC including Associate Director of Human Resources. Since December 2021, she has served as Interim Vice President of Human Resources.   

In her role as Vice President, she will oversee talent acquisition, risk management, organizational and staff development, payroll, labor relations and employee relations, along with benefits and compensation for the college.

Prior to joining Fox Valley Technical College, Kaufman started her career in human resources in a variety of roles within the direct sales industry. She has taught as an adjunct instructor for the FVTC Human Resources program. In addition, she has served in the community as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Fox Valley Board Treasurer, and as a member of the Oshkosh Public Museum Board of Directors.

Kaufman received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Marian University in Fond du Lac and a master’s degree in Managerial and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc. She earned both SHRM-CP and PHR certifications and is a Leadership Oshkosh graduate.
