Program for veterans highlighted on Spectrum News

| By: Daley-Hinkens, Carmelyn M

Fox Valley Technical College recently welcomed another cohort of students to the Innovation Accelerator for Veterans program. The training classes provide mentoring and seed funds to veterans who want to start their own company or learn new strategies to help it grow.

Amy Pietsch, director of FVTC’s Venture Center, recently spoke to Spectrum News about this popular program.

“When you equip veterans with some of the tools in the program: education, training, access to resources and expanded networks, it’s like a rocket ship,” Amy said. “Their businesses take off.”
