House Hunters Highlights Interior Design Grad
It was lights, camera, action for Ana Billings, an FVTC Interior Design grad and Milwaukee resident/real estate agent, who was recently featured on an episode of HGTV’s popular show “House Hunters.” While Ana and her sister Kerry scouted for homes in Milwaukee, a camera crew followed along to capture the process.
The episode description sums it up: “A newly single real estate professional looks to buy a place she can make her own in Milwaukee. She's searching for a house that will accommodate her sister who will be moving in, and with her current home under contract, she needs to find something fast.” Ana is both the agent and the buyer in the show.
During her time as a student at Fox Valley Tech, Ana started working in real estate as a way to improve her home staging skills and decided to continue on that career path.
She currently works for Team Hoffmann, a Milwaukee real estate agency. HGTV contacted the agency’s owner with the opportunity, and he suggested it to Ana. “After tons of conversations with producers, they decided I was the perfect fit for the show, and we got to work,” Ana says.
The episode first aired on Friday, November 11, and Ana also shared her story with digital entertainment publication OnMilwaukee.
