Electricity student Kaden Keenlance takes home top award in national SkillsUSA Championship.

FVTC Electricity student Kaden Keenlance (back row, center) placed first during the national SkillsUSA Championship, which was held in Atlanta in June 2022. 

Kaden competed in the Electrical Construction competition. He is enrolled in the Fox Valley Electrical Contractors Association (FVECA) Electrical program at FVTC and works for Grasee Electric in Ripon as an electrician while attending school. After starting his education at a four-year university, Kaden decided to take a different career path and learn a trade. 

The SkillsUSA Championships are career competition events showcasing the best career and technical education students in the nation. Contests begin locally and continue through the state and national levels.
