FVTC Weighs in on Program for Younger Semi Drivers Thursday, February 3, 2022 | By: Daley-Hinkens, Carmelyn M Due to the ongoing shortage of drivers in the trucking industry, the federal government is starting an apprenticeship program that would allow drivers as young as 18 to drive semi-trucks across state lines.
