Faculty Association Supports Students

| By: Britten, Casey

The Fox Valley Technical College Faculty Association donated $3,000 to Feeding America and $3,000 to the FVTC Foundation Seeds of Hope fund.

The Feeding America gift complements an already robust partnership with the organization, especially since COVID-19 started to impact the state in mid-March. FVTC's Truck Driving program has been working closely with Feeding America the past few months in transporting food and other related items to families in need around the region.

Seeds of Hope, a heavily-supported fund by college employees, helps students deal with emergency situations. "The well-being of our students, their families, and people in our community and surrounding areas is important to the Fox Valley Tech Faculty Association," said Brenda Stern, a business technology instructor.
