Why did you choose to study this field?

Human Resources is a very communicative, organized, influential and necessary field. I have always loved solving people’s problems and being there for someone to talk to if they need it.

Tell us how you came to choose FVTC for your education.

FVTC was flexible with my work schedule, and the teachers were always so knowledgeable and caring. Additionally, the online class options are more self-paced, which was beneficial to my busy life.

What's been the most rewarding part of your educational journey at FVTC?

To be able to say "I did it"! I cannot be prouder of myself for the grades that I got and the work that I put into my degree.

What was the most difficult part?

The hardest part was balancing a full-time job, school, family and social life. It involved a lot of working ahead in classes and staying organized with projects and homework.

What will you do on graduation day or in the future to celebrate graduation?

I plan to celebrate with my family and friends, and I turn 21 on May 25th, so.... PARTY!!!

Tell us about your plans after graduation.

I plan on continuing my education with a bachelor’s degree and going into the Human Resources field as a human resources coordinator or generalist.

One last parting thought or words of wisdom to share with others.

Try your hardest always, and never quit. It is possible!
