Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

| By: Britten, Casey

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States.

This annual observance recognizes the historical and cultural contributions to our country by people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent. The AAPI umbrella term includes cultures from the entire Asian continent—including East, Southeast and South Asia—and the Pacific Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

Here at Fox Valley Technical College we proudly support and celebrate the AAPI community this month and throughout the entire year.
