Career Exploration Center Opens on Campus Monday, January 27, 2020 | By: Britten, Casey In an effort to optimize skill building in STEM, three organizations joined forces to develop the first-ever Junior Achievement career exploration facility on a college campus in Wisconsin. The nonprofit organization teamed up with Community First Credit Union and Fox Valley Technical College to open the Community First Career Exploration & Financial Literacy Center on the college’s Appleton campus. Huge crowds attended both a dedication ceremony and public open house on January 22 at 11 Tri Park Way near FVTC’s D.J. Bordini Center to make history and discover the center’s services. [ VIEW PHOTO GALLERY BELOW ] Filled with several storefronts sponsored by local businesses, the facility will offer hands-on learning experiences while providing programming in collaboration with FVTC’s career exploration outreach efforts.
