A Tour Stop for Notable Garden Walk Tuesday, June 14, 2016 | By: Britten, Casey Fox Valley Technical College is honored to be one of six tour stops during the 2016 Outagamie County Master Gardener Association Garden Walk, scheduled for Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The annual event is day of educational tours of a variety of gardens in the Fox Cities. It includes opportunities for green-thumb enthusiasts to learn gardening concepts and horticulture tips. As part of the tour, FVTC’s Horticulture department will highlight its greenhouses, growing operations, and raised gardens that feature organically-grown vegetables and artistic themes. The cost of the event is $8 per person with proceeds supporting Goodwill Grows and a donation of two non-perishable food items for St. Joseph’s Food Program.
