World Class in Manufacturing

The Northeast Wisconsin (NEW) Manufacturing Alliance designated two sites at Fox Valley Technical College as World Class Manufacturing Centers on May 19 as part of formal dedication ceremonies. The events were held outside entrance 6 at FVTC’s Appleton campus and at its Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center in Oshkosh and included college leaders, members of the NEW Manufacturing Alliance, elected officials, and more.

The new signs at both locations signify FVTC’s vital role in providing skilled workers for today’s manufacturers, along with its impact on training the incumbent workforce in advanced manufacturing. The college’s 2015 Graduate Employment Research Report cites a 95% job placement rate for its manufacturing graduates within six months of graduation.
