Thirty-nine new international students are studying this academic year at Fox Valley Technical College through its Global Education and Services department.
Some students are enrolled at the college independently, while others are part of international scholarship programs like the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange, Thomas Jefferson Scholarship program, and Year Exchange in America initiative. The students will be at FVTC between one and five years depending on the field of study before returning to their homelands.
The international learners are primarily studying these programs at FVTC: Business Management, Electronics, English Language Learning, Global Studies, Interior Design, Nursing, and Power Sports Technology. In all, FVTC will serve students from more than 50 different nations this academic year.
FVTC’s Global Education and Services department also offers a wide variety of foreign language instruction for consumers and business and industry, in addition to studying abroad opportunities for students.
