Venture into history with Cpt. Hansen as he recounts his experiences in Air America during the secret war in Laos.
Most people have never heard of Air America. The CIA’s aviation arm was in existence from 1952 until the fall of Saigon in 1975. It operated covertly in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War and the Secret War in Laos, unbeknownst to the American public. After 1984, the Freedom of Information Act allowed those employed by Air America to finally begin telling their stories. Cpt. Hansen gives the history of Air America while interspersing it with colorful stories from his days flying for the world’s most shot at airline.
