Fox Valley Technical College’s Veterans Resource Center and the college’s Foundation have joined several community organizations to offer the second annual Connect to Courage event, a free one-day opportunity for the public to learn about issues pertaining to military veterans on Tuesday, March 20 from 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. at FVTC’s Public Safety Training Center, W6400 County Road BB in Appleton.
Connect to Courage is designed to make the community part of helping veterans transition to civilian life. The event features resources from nearly 50 organizations for veterans, firefighters, police officers, and paramedics pertaining to the challenges they face each day. Guests can also participate in Question, Persuade and Refer, or QPR, training.
