**Attitudes in the Workplace**

Your attitude is your point of view, your frame of mind. It determines your choices, your communication approach, and your responses to people and situations. Personal power in the workplace comes from choosing a positive attitude that fosters enjoyment and competence and enables you to choose how you respond to others. Positive workers are optimistic, resilient, enthusiastic and confident. Positive workers look for ways to help internal and external customers by finding opportunities to pay it forward. Learn the communication skills that demonstrate your positive workplace attitude.

**Communication Based on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or DiSC**

Effective communication is vital for successful workplace collaboration. People exhibit communication preferences based on their MBTI or DiSC type. Knowing communication preferences based on type and exhibiting assertive/responsive communication skills can enhance one's potential for successful communication.

**Conflict Resolution Based on MBTI or DiSC**

Conflict is normal and useful within relationships and organizations if managed well. When managed well, conflict encourages creativity and innovation, solves problems and fosters relationship growth. When not managed well, conflict can be destructive to both organizations and relationships. Understanding our MBTI or DiSC type can influence how we approach and manage type.

**Critical Core Interpersonal Skills**

Explore three core interpersonal skills critical to communication success: nonverbal communication, active listening and assertive speaking, and giving and receiving instructions, including making requests.

**Enhancing Interpersonal Behavior**

People are different. In many personality conflicts, there is no reality only individual perceptions of reality. In this interactive training, learn more about what triggers hostility and negative feelings, and the attitudes that often lead to them. Practice techniques that address these situations.

**Interpersonal and Nonverbal Communication**

Effective communication is the foundation for all successful personal and professional relationships. The ability to work with and get along with others is necessary in our families, our friendships and today's collaborative work environment. The successful communicator speaks appropriately by adapting to the needs, interests and knowledge of the listener and listens attentively by using techniques that enhance understanding. Additionally, because listeners interpret messages in a large part based on nonverbal clues, good communicators are aware of the nonverbal messages they send and receive.

**Interpersonal Communication Fundamentals**

This interactive training helps participants learn how to communicate more effectively in their work environment. Through analyzing their own and others styles, learn to better understand the nuances of communications. Participants learn strategies to enhance oral interaction, critical to productive discourse.
