Annual Objectives 2012-2013 


Strategic plan implementation objective – Advance progress in achieving the College Strategic Directions by meeting or exceeding the majority of targets for the identified measures.

Enrollment objective – Achieve a full-time equivalency enrollment within the range of 7,530-7,680 through the implementation of an enrollment management plan.

Financial objective – Build upon the College’s solid financial health by meeting or exceeding the planned budget parameters for FY 2013.

Regional skills gap objective - Address critical skills shortages in our District workforce in at least three targeted occupational areas.

Student outcomes objective – Develop and implement strategies to increase completion rates and expand credentialing options.

Grant development objective – Create and implement a resource development plan aligned with the College’s strategic plan that targets high potential grants to optimize yield. Submit $17 to $20 million in grant proposals, yielding at least $10 million for FY 2013.

Contract services objective – Generate at least $7.8 M in contract services achieving cost recovery on these services, including overhead costs.

K-12 partnership objective – Design and begin implementing a new model for partnerships with District K-12 schools focusing on opportunities for more students to participate in post-secondary education.

Facilities objective – For referendum projects, complete required planning and documentation for District and State Board approvals, and complete design/development work, construction documents, and bid documents to support the identified construction timeline for each project.

Operations objective – Implement CollegeNET room scheduling and space utilization software, involving appropriate faculty and staff.

Human resources objective – Begin implementing the plan to address the requirements of Act 10, engaging the Board, faculty and staff, and providing opportunities for feedback.

College website objective – Complete a formal evaluation of the College’s website and initiate actions to improve the infrastructure, key business processes, and user experience (search, systems integration, etc.) of www.fvtc.edu.
